Any Beatles Fans Left?  "Do You Want to Know a Secret?" is a song by the English rock group the Beatles from the 1963 album Please Please Me, sung by George Harrison.  According to Liverpool tour guide Jay Riley...John Lennon and his first wife Cynthia Lennon had once occupied this flat, which belonged to Beatles manager Brian Epstein.  Epstein, who was gay, kept it as a “secret” apartment. “Up until 1967 in England it was illegal to be gay. This is why it was called his secret apartment,” Riley stated.  Lennon wrote the song Do You Want to Know a Secret in the apartment. Its title was inspired by the apartment’s backstory.  A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder after three dead bodies were found in the Liverpool home where John Lennon once lived. Authorities believe the deaths were part of a domestic violence incident. “The investigation is in its early stages and officers are keeping an open mind, however it is believed that the incident is domestic related,” Merseyside police said in a statement.  Police identified the bodies of a woman and two at the Falkner Street flat. Neighbors said the home belonged to a young family with two toddlers, the BBC reported.   |

Many Beatles songs have become ingrained within our social fiber transcends generational boundaries. I didn't know this story until I began digging into it. Of all the Beatles tunes the opening guitar riff to DAY TRIPPER goes through my head and I can't escape it.
